Daniel Palomo is Director of International Sales for Houston First Corporation with more than 20 years of experience on international strategy, sales and marketing globally.
Daniel’s commitment to ICCA consists of 16 years serving for more than a decade in Leadership positions. Most recently he served as ICCA 1st Vice President worldwide, Board Member and Chapter Chair for North America, ICCA Congress 2019 Local Host Committee Chair and is author of an ICCA Skills chapter. Daniel has also served as Strategic Business Development- SBD Chair for BestCities Global Alliance and Texas Medical Center’s International Affairs Advisory Council Chair.
Daniel worked as professor and researcher at academic institutions in Latin America and has lived in Mexico, Spain, Belgium, UK, Colombia, Chile and the US. He has a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey and two masters; an MBA from ESADE Business & Law School in Barcelona with specialization at KU Leuven in Belgium and a MSc. in Politics of Development in Latin America at The London School of Economics and Political Sciences- LSE. Daniel was a PhD in Government candidate at LSE and PhD in Management Sciences candidate at ESADE.
Prodromos Nikolaidis is a Senior Project Manager at ARTION Conferences & Events. He has successfully participated in the organisation of more than 100 large- and small-scale conventions and congresses in more than 15 countries across Europe, America and Asia, and has worked as Sponsorship and Marketing Manager for several years, leading many sponsorship and exhibition campaigns for international conventions.
Prodromos holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, an MA in Governance, and an M.Sc. in Political Marketing, and is based in Thessaloniki, Greece. He speaks English, Greek and German.
Valentini Amarantidou is the Director of Development and Partner of ARTION Conferences & Events, a Thessaloniki based association management (AM) & conference organising company (PCO). She manages international associations, conferences, events & projects for more than 25 years.
She has studied economics in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in the University of Southampton, UK, and pursued a master’s degree in International Trade and Management specialised in Japanese Business.
An ex-young entrepreneur (start-up at the age of 22), she speaks Greek, English, German and French and has learned Turkish, Spanish and Japanese. She has lived in the UK, France and Japan for her studies and continues to travel around the globe for business.
She is married and a mother of two children. She lives in, because she loves, Thessaloniki, Greece.
